Christmas Dance

 

This years christmas dance was held onDecember 4 in the Bouvrie rangers club in Port Glasgow it was a good night thanks to all who atteneded pictures will be here soon. Big thanks to the bar staff and the catering staff

 

Raising of the Regiment Dance

 

Members of the branch recently attended a dance at the Balaklava club in Stirling for a dinner and dance and by all accounts they had a great night. Pictures will be on the site soon.

 

Northern Ireland Veterans Parade

 

On 06 September two Branch members, Denis and Gary McLuskey, attended a memorial parade held in Paisley for the 40th anniversary of the troubles. The Parade formed up at the Royal British Legion club at 1000hrs and then proceeded through Paisley to the cenotaph on the High street where a local minister said a few words and a wreath was laid. and then at 1100hrs last post was played and was then followed by 2 minutes silence. After the short service the parade then proceeded back to the Royal British legion club for refreshments. It was a good day and an excellent turnout from other branches of the Argyll's and other services.
